Airman Leadership School from Beale Air Force Base
volunteered for a work day at the museum 5/17/2011 to honor
Memorial Day.

Beale AFB Airman Leadership School members
helping clean up the displays for Veterans Day included SSgt
McCroroy, SRA Lopez, SRA Cole, SRA Demeter, SRA Babcock, SRA
Vest, SRA Strickler, SRA Thraikill, SRA Lovelace, SRA
Weaver, SRA Whitaker, SRA Moore, SRA Hoxsie, SRA Harris. The
NCOIC for the school is SSgt Trista White.
It was an honor to have these who are
serving our country donating their time at the museum to
honor fellow veterans.

Beale AFB Honor Guard members stand with
retired Col Nicoll Galbraith (US Army) in front of the
display they put together n the Honor Guard with a POW/MIA
ceremony table. Col. Galbraith's father was captured by the
Japanese on Corregidor during World War II where Col.
Galbraith Sr. served with General Wainwright.
The Honor guard members standing with Col.
Galbraith are, A1C Ken Kurotobi, SRA David Garcia, TSgt Shin
(NCOIC), Col Galbraith, SSgt Blankenship (Assistant NCOIC)
and SRA Robert DuPre, who donated their time .
This new display was opened on Veterans
Day November 11, 2010. See next photo for finishing the
table.

The Beale Honor Guard members reflect the
honor and devotion to duty that goes far beyond with it
comes to the tribute that they give to veterans. They are
Awesome.

a deceased Viet Nam Veteran who rode.


The beginning of the
"Rolling Thunder ride to the Wall" with escort by the local
police jurisdictions.
300 bikes came to the museum.

Monday Sept 28. 2009. The USAF Airman's Leadership School
Class from Beale Air Force Base with 31 Airmen came to the
Museum to view the displays. Each class at Beale Air Force
Base comes to the Museum as their final class to see the
history of those who have served before them. Now these
young Men and Women of the Air Force are making their own
history to add to the Museum.

Star Knights ride 2010 & 2011
Photos and note from a group that visited museum 29 May
2010. They are a group from the star Touring and Riding
Sacramento Chapter 153. It is made up of Veterans who are
currently serving and who have served prior in different
branches and those who now have kids serving. A Really neat
group!
Their Note
Thank You very much for showing us around Saturday. We
are planning on a bike ride up there with some memorable

Yuba County Supervisor Andy Vasaquez (in cap) welcomes
the Veterans of Foreign Wars State Commander for California,
Jack Turner from San Diego, Ca to the Museum of the
Forgotten Warriors in Linda, CA. on Saturday 9-26-09. The
Commander, his State Vice Commander and officers of VFW
District 18 made a special visit to the Museum. Supervisor
Vasquez is a VFW member having served in the Marine Corps
(MAW) in the Viet Nam War.


The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) State Commander, his
Officers for the State and District 18 stand for a group
photo in front of the Huey with Yuba County Supervisor
Vasquezr. It was a real honor to have them travel to the
Linda Museum to view the displays and pay tribute to all
Veterans.
